Mind Rest
July 10, 2009
My last entry didn’t include a lot of what I have been mulling over in my head since the important meeting w/ the co-founders of Pledge for Code. I have had so many compelling thoughts concerning the direction I want to go with the company and the risks and responsibilities that go with it. I have been activating neurons that haven’t fired in a while, which is opening up a new found perspective on a lot of things, but I am going to marinate onĀ those thoughts a while before I let you in, besides the point of my entry today is to talk about how I am going to take what information and thoughts over the last three days and concentrate on them. The title of this entry can seem to imply that I am just sitting around and zoning off, but I promised myself not to become complacent, so I created a place of mind called “mind rest”, which I will gather my thoughts on paper, and transfer them to screen and then rearrange and prioritize based on my feelings towards the topic, taking the hardest topic first then moving down the thought list, gradually getting to the easy topics, that way I feel completed and calm at the end, although this “Mind Rest” technique is still new to me and hasn’t been testing ( since I made up the idea ), I will have to leave the statistics to trial and report back.
