Mixed Mind

Wow has it been a long time since I last wrote Mind Rest. Funny thing is I remember clearly the day I wrote it, I even remember the day before when I was sitting at Wally’s Subs, smelling the fresh bread and espresso. Well Pledge4Code wasn’t a big success but it did lead my partner into other progressive ideas and projects. I have decided to pursue another type of profession but I still dabble occasionally in programming. Currently I am waiting for summer quarter to start and am ambitiously searching for full time work. The reason for the title Mixed Mind is because I have been paying more attention to what is going on in the nation politically and I am so fed up with the two party system, I don’t like either and how they’re stereo-typed and portrayed. I wish I had profound ideas on how to fix things, but things are so complicated in the world and in our own nation. Besides all that Im feeling the pressures of fatherhood. I think constantly on how Im going to raise my daughter, the values I instill in her, will she grow up in a hostile world? What kind of school is she going to attend? Those kind of thoughts are scary running through my head currently.
